Ricardo A Depine was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a Permanent Professor with the Department of Physics at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), where he leads the research activities of the Applied Electromagnetics Group and teaches courses on classical electrodynamics, waves, photonics and optics and continuum mechanics.
