Ray B. Browne
Ray B. Browne, formerly an associate professor of English at Purdue and professor emeritus at Bowling Green State University, was a pioneer in the study of popular culture and served as director of the Center for the Study of Popular culture at Bowling Green University and editor of the Journal of Popular Culture . He is also the author of The Destiny That Binds: Moby Dick and After , a study of Herman Melville; editor of several books; and author of many articles.
