Ranjeet Singh was born in Coventry in 1974, the youngest of four children. Like many people of his generation his parents emigrated from the Panjab with no money or education, in search of a better life. Ranjeet's father was a bus driver and his devoted mother worked tirelessly in a cooker factory. Despite his humble background, Ranjeet excelled at school and now lives in Surrey and works in the City. His passion is to now help others realise their dreams particularly those who do not always have an opportunity. Growing up in the 70s and 80s Ranjeet saw racial division between communities and he believes that unnecessary division still exists today. In 2014 he founded the charity SIKH to try and make a difference. He believes that we are all equal regardless of our background and the education of our young children is the key to the world's problems. See less
