Professor Ranamukalage Chandrasoma is currently Professor of English at Universidad Catolica del Norte, the largest university in north Chile, where he teaches Applied Linguistics. Professor Ranamukalage Chandrasoma is currently Professor of English at Universidad Catolica del Norte, the largest university in north Chile, where he teaches Applied Linguistics. He is also a Visiting Professor of English at the English Language Centre of the University of Queensland, Australia-UCN. He has taught advanced English language and literature courses in several countries: Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Australia, Papua New Guinea, the United States of America, the Marshall Islands, and Chile. He has also presented papers on interdisciplinaity, and applied linguistics at a large number of international conferences, mostly in the USA and Europe. He is a manuscript reviewer for The Journal of Language Learning, University of Michigan, USA. Professor Chandrasoma has been a Sydney resident for the last twenty-three years, and he enjoys working with people from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds. See less
