Dr. Ralph Lee MBE is a Representative of The Navigators UK and worked in Ethiopia for many years first teaching Chemical Engineering in Addis Ababa and Bahir Dar, where he gained a strong interest in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church. Dr. Ralph Lee MBE is a Representative of The Navigators UK and worked in Ethiopia for many years first teaching Chemical Engineering in Addis Ababa and Bahir Dar, where he gained a strong interest in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church. Following research at SOAS University of London he then taught at the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church's seminary in Addis Ababa. He has developed research interests in Ethiopian Christianity, its biblical interpretation and its contemporary outlook. He is now associate faculty at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies primarily on themes around Orthodox Mission and Orthodox-Evangelical relations. He is also board member of the Lausanne Orthodox Initiative which seeks to promote good relationships and joint projects between Orthodox and Evangelical Christians. See less
