Rachael Dwyer is a musician, teacher and researcher, with her interests including music teacher education, sociology of music education, research education and narrative inquiry. Rachael Dwyer is a musician, teacher and researcher, with her interests including music teacher education, sociology of music education, research education and narrative inquiry. She spent a number of years as a music specialist teacher in primary and secondary schools prior to completing her doctoral studies at the University of Queensland, Australia. Rachael's doctoral research sought to investigate how music teachers' values and beliefs about music and music education are enacted in practice and how these beliefs are socially and culturally shaped.
