R. Scott Appleby

R. Scott Appleby is a professor of history at the University of Notre Dame, where he also serves as the Marilyn Keough Dean of its School of Global Affairs. Formerly, he served as the director of the Notre Dame Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism and as the John M. Regan, Jr., Director of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. Currently, he is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and of the American Academy of Political and Social Science.
