Sarah Bradford Landau, professor of art history at New York University, served as a commissioner on the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission for nine years. She has written numerous articles and essays on nineteenth- and early-twentieth-century American architecture, including books on the architecture of brothers Edward T. and William A.
