Nicholas N. Kittrie is University Professor and the Edwin A. Mooers Scholar in law at the American University. Nicholas N. Kittrie is University Professor and the Edwin A. Mooers Scholar in law at the American University. Chairman of the Eleanor Roosevelt Institute for Justice and Peace, he has served as counsel to the United States Senate Judiciary Committee and as president of the American Society of Criminology. He has been an advisor to various African, Asian, and East European governments and is a consultant to the United Nations. Wedlock, Jr., is a native of Rhode Island and holds David H. Means Chair at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he teaches constitutional and criminal Law. He has served as the Executive Editor of the Journal of Law & Education for more than twenty-five years and has been active in many progressive political and social movements in South Carolina.
