Carolyn Pape Cowan is Research Psychologist and Co-director of the Becoming a Family Project at the University of California, Berkeley She is the coauthor of the upcoming book, The Delicate Balance: Partners Becoming Parents. Under a grant from the National Institute of Mental Health, Dr. Cowan is working on an ongoing study Longitudinal Studies of Couple Relationships in Family Formation. She received her PhD in clinical psychology from the Center for Psychological Studies, Berkeley, California. See less
