Phoebe Hoss
Phoebe Hoss grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is by profession an editor of scholarly books. Her recent memoir, "All Eyes: A Mother's Struggle to Save Her Schizophrenic Son," won the 2009 Doris Bakwin Award given by Carolina Wren Press. She is also the author of two children's books -- "Noses Are for Roses" and "Better Never Than Late"; co-translator of "The View from Afar" by Claude L�vi-Strauss; and editor of two noncommercial books of poetry.
