Philip Martorella

Philip Martorella, b. Brooklyn, New York in 1955: author of this book entitled A Controversial Approach to Music Theory and Musical Scansion holds a BM from the Mannes College of Music; MM from the Juilliard School of Music and MA from the Manhattan School of Music where he received his teaching certification. He is on the piano faculty at Rhode Island College and has toured throughout the United States and Europe performing in piano and organ concerts.
