He joined Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) UK as head of learning and development, training prospective traders. He was later appointed head of learning and education for UBS in North America. He later left the bank to create a successful financial training company in New York City. Returning to London in 1999, he worked as a training consultant to online brokerage houses, and the Ministry of Défense.
