Peter Reese Doyle

Peter Reese Doyle was born in Pensacola, Florida into a Navy family that moved often. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, and met Sally Ann Jackson in the cast of The Common Glory, an historic drama and tourist attraction that ran for several decades in Williamsburg, Virginia. Peter Reese Doyle was born in Pensacola, Florida into a Navy family that moved often. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, and met Sally Ann Jackson in the cast of The Common Glory, an historic drama and tourist attraction that ran for several decades in Williamsburg, Virginia. Sally Ann was training for a career in ballet in New York. They married and later lived in Africa, then in Switzerland, before returning to the States. The Doyles have two children and five grandchildren, they enjoy traveling, and now reside in Opelika, Alabama. To date, Doyle has published 12 books in the Daring Adventure series and four in the Drums of War series. See less
