Peter Oxley is a writer and publisher who lives in the English Home Counties. Born around 200 years too late, Pete is unusually comfortable in Regency clothing. He fell into a career as a writer and publisher after dalliances with the law, accountancy and washing dishes left him with calloused hands and an allergy to spreadsheets and long words. A sucker for a good story, Pete enjoys reading pretty much anything which has interesting characters, shocking twists, gripping action and talking mice. Particular influences and guilty pleasures include Clive Barker, Bernard Cornwell, Scott Lynch, Isaac Asimov, Douglas Adams and Joss Whedon. And yes he knows one of those isn't an author, but that's the way Pete rolls. He is the author of the gothic fantasy Infernal Aether series, and the nonfiction book: The Wedding Speech Manual: The Complete Guide to Preparing, Writing and Performing Your Wedding Speech. When he's not reading or writing, Pete enjoys binge-watching box sets, mangling perfectly good tunes on his guitar, and writing about himself in the third person. See less
