Peter Loughran is an award-winning author whose previous works have been translated into multiple languages. He spent his childhood playing in bombed-out Liverpool, with American soldiers everywhere and the occasional P51 Mustang being towed through the streets. As an adult, his interest in WW2 became a passion, and a lifelong research project. Peter has worked at almost every imaginable job, from 'timber-skin' docker, to an archaeological digger, from laboratory assistant to roofer. He lived for a time on Caldy Island where he worked alongside the monks in the garden and in the fields at harvest time. He lives in Gran Canaria where he continues to write every day, sitting in his favourite café overlooking the sea. See less
