Peter Eglin is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. He has been Humboldt Research Fellow at the Universit�t Konstanz and Visiting Research Associate at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at Wolfson College, Oxford. He has contributed chapters to the Handbook of Sociology and Human Rights (2013), the Routledge Handbook of Language and Culture (2015) and The Global Citizenship Nexus: Critical Studies (2020) that he also co-edited. He wrote extensively with Stephen Hester, including the monograph The Montreal Massacre (2003) and the textbook A Sociology of Crime (second edition, 2017). See less
