Peter Bennett Hills
Born in Fulham, London, Peter Bennett Hills (1920-1996) was a keen amateur actor who won several awards. He migrated to South Australia in 1961 and wrote in his spare time, while working for General Motors Holden. He spent three years in New Zealand, and upon returning to Australia wrote and published two children's stories about detective Inspector Hare and his assistant Sergeant Brisk.
