Peter Bamfield acts an independent consultant on both colour chemistry and the management of R&D. After obtaining his PhD from the University of Nottingham in 1966, he spent the rest of his career with ICI and Zeneca (now AstraZeneca), before retiring as R&D Manager for the Colours Business in 1993.
