Peter Bakalian began his career as an intern at Walt Disney's Burbank Studios before joining the production crew for Rankin/Bass's ThunderCats , SilverHawks , and TigerSharks . He later shared an Emmy for his writing on Curious George . The Writers Guild of America nominated him and Suzanne Collins for Best Animated Screenplay for the Fox musical special Santa, Baby! , which he coproduced.
