Pete Ferrari is a US Army veteran, having served with 1st Infantry Division during Desert Storm. After his honorable discharge, he worked as an Electronic Tech for 14 years. In 2003 he was diagnosted with Young-Onset Parkinson's Disease at the age of 38. He wrote his first book about Backpacking with Parkinson's based on his true experiences, first published paperback in Apr, 2010. He also wrote a short story about a hike up Mt Cascade, (one of the NY 46ers). Published electronically in 2010.
