Peg Meier is a former journalist for the Star Tribune , a researcher, and a lover of local history. In addition to Bring Warm Clothes , Meier is the author of Through No Fault of My Own: A Girl's Diary of Life on Summit Avenue in the Jazz Age ; Too Hot, Went to Lake: Seasonal Photos from Minnesota's Past ; and Wishing for a Snow Day: Growing Up in Minnesota , among others. She lives in the Twin Cities.
