Paul Wilmot was born and raised in the small town of Ballymoney in the County of Antrim, Northern Ireland, close to the beautiful North Antrim coast and nearby the world famous Giant's Causeway. The second eldest of four children, Paul has always had a healthy interest in the English language, words, poetry and rhyming. This led him to a very rewarding hobby, writing slogans for competition entries. Married for 20 years now, his wife has always been his first port of call for feedback and reaction when he has been working on new slogans. Often she has been awakened during the night as a good idea for a slogan has popped into his head, resulting in the light going on so he can write down his thoughts before they leave him. Having penned thousands of slogans over the years, Paul has decided to share his success with other keen compers, those who love to participate in competitions. Paul believes that by utilizing your passion and slogan-writing skills, you too can be successful in securing some of the wonderful prizes that are available in contests and competitions around the world. In Paul's book "An Irish Slogan for Success" you will see the slogans that won major prizes such as holidays to the Caribbean and expensive cars. Now blessed with two beautiful children, Paul reckons at least one of them will have that passion for slogan-writing and comping, maybe even beat dad to a major prize one day! See less
