Notwithstanding the fact that Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thorne wrote several Chicago Detective Stories in the early 1900's, Magic Lamp Press was unable to learn anything about them. According to Federal copyright records, it appears that Mr. Thorne passed away and his widow Mabel renewed the copyright on one of their books in 1958.
