Patrick F. Dunn, Ph.D., P.E., is a professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering at the University of Notre Dame, where he has been a faculty member since 1985. He is the author of more than 160 scientific journal and refereed symposia publications and a licensed professional engineer in Indiana and Illinois. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
