Pat Thompson illustrated the highly successful Children's Treasury Books for Dalmatian Press including The Velveteen Rabbit The Newborn King The Night Before Christmas and The Nutcracker. Pat Thompson illustrated the highly successful Children's Treasury Books for Dalmatian Press including The Velveteen Rabbit The Newborn King The Night Before Christmas and The Nutcracker. She also spent many years creating licensed illustrations, many for Disney, creating children's lunch box art for Aladdin Industries and also created illustrations for Ideals Magazine for three years. Pat received her training at The Museum of Fine Art , Boston, The Arts Student's League, New York, Ted Seth Jacobs at L'Ecole Albert Dufois in France and portraiture with Daniel E. Greene in New York. She lives on an 11 acre farm with her husband, also an artist while currently illustrating, doing commissioned pastel portraits of children, and teaches weekly classes in painting at SouthGate Studio in The Factory at Franklin, in a renovated stove factory in this historic town.
