Pascal Bastien

Born in Montreal in 1974, Pascal Bastien is professor of eighteenth-century European history at the Université du Québec à Montréal (Canada). He has long been interested in the history of criminal law in the early modern period, but more recently his research has focused on popular mobilisation in Paris before the French Revolution.
