Olivier Rouault is an archaeologist and Assyriologist, Honorary Professor at the University Lumière Lyon2. He directed the excavations of Tell Ashara Terqa in Syria, and he is now co-director of the French mission at Qasr Shemamok (Kurdistan, Iraq).
