Intern and Residency at Roosevelt Hospital was followed by two years in the Navy on the USS Randolph. After Residency in Thoracic Surgery at Belleview and Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center he was Chief of Cardiac Surgery at Children's Hospital Buffalo, Norfolk General Hospital and, for 20 years, St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, New York.
