Norman Ridley
Ridley graduated in Metallurgy from the University of Durham. He has worked in hte non-ferrous metals industry, and was Lecturer in Metallurgy at Sheffield Polytechnic before moving to the University of Manchester in 1960, where he is Reader in Metallurgy in the Materials Science Centre.
