Norman Epstein is Honorary Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of British Columbia. His research areas during the past 60 years have focused on heat, mass and momentum transfer; on the fluid-particle dynamics of spouted beds; and on various aspects of heat exchanger fouling.
