Nikhil Chandra Shil is working as an assistant professor of East West University, one of the top-ranked private universities in Bangladesh. He is also working as consultant academic affairs of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), the only national institute of Bangladesh taking care of CMA profession. He holds BBA and MBA degrees with concentration in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Dhaka, number one public university in Bangladesh. He is a Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA) of the ICMAB. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is also a Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA) certified by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy UK, the only professional institute in the world taking care of public finance management. Mr Shil has long experience with university teaching in both graduate and undergraduate programmes. In his career, he has published as many as 70 research papers, mostly in international journals. He has also authored numerous texts, research monographs, working papers, conference papers, book chapters and edited books.
