Nicola Sacco (18911927) immigrated to the United States in 1908 and worked in a shoe factory. Bartolomeo Vanzetti (18881927) also immigrated to the United States in 1908. He worked as a laborer in various cities in Massachusetts. Bruce Watson is an award-winning journalist and the author of "Blood and Roses," Richard Polenberg is Goldwin Smith Professor of American History at Cornell University.
