Narisa Chakra
Narisa Chakra studied art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London University, and gained an M.A. in Southeast Asian Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies. Taken down to Cornwall aged ten days, she lived near Bodmin for fifteen years, and consequently has an enduring affection for the Great Western Railway, shared with Terence Cuneo. A co-founder of The London Toy Museum, Narisa has published many books on art, toys and collecting, as well as cultural histories of Thailand and Southeast Asia. She has two sons, one of whom is an actor in Thailand, and she lives with her husband in London. See less
