Nancy McCoy is a Texas lawyer who taught law school for fourteen years. She is passionately committed to the fight against hunger and has directly taken on the task of assuring food security in her community, serving without compensation as president and board member of the Montgomery County (Texas) Food Bank. Nancy is the author of the nonfiction work Butterflies Do Not Sleep in Hot Tubs: A Lawyer's Tortured Search for Truth and co-author of a law school textbook. She has written numerous professional articles as well as social/political commentary for local newspapers. A mother and grandmother, she lives with her husband in Willis, Texas.
