Nana Kesewaa Dankwa is a Ghanaian born in Tamale the capital city of the Northern Region in Ghana in July 1985. She is the daughter of a retired Civil Servant and a retired Teacher. She grew up in a family of four (4) girls. Nana Kesewaa Dankwa is a Ghanaian born in Tamale the capital city of the Northern Region in Ghana in July 1985. She is the daughter of a retired Civil Servant and a retired Teacher. She grew up in a family of four (4) girls. She had her basic schooling in Tamale (where her family lived for over fifteen years) at the Presby Experimental Primary and the Kanvilli Presby Junior High School. Later, she continued with her Senior High School education in Kumasi. She also lived for a while in Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region of Ghana. She later obtained a Bachelor of science in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Ghana in Accra in 2007. She also pursued a Master in Information Technology from the Sikkim Manipal University in India by distance education. She is currently studying for a Master in Computer Science and Media at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany. She worked for seven years with the Internal Audit Agency performing IT Audits. Having grown up and spent most of her life in Ghana, she lives everyday with thoughts of Ghana. These are mostly inspiration for the stories she writes. Her love for writing started in her childhood through reading but matured as she grew up. Daily scribbling stories on pieces of paper for her friends to read. She started her own blog in 2012 where she wrote on issues concerning Ghana, womanhood and poems. She has also written two plays which were acted in her church Dworwulu Presby in Accra. In her first book, which she calls the Confessions of a Ghanaian Girl, she presents not only Ghana through her eyes using various themes but other facets of the human race as well. Apart from writing she loves to make jewelry with beads from Ghana and skin care products from products from Ghana. She also loves to read, go jogging and listen to music. She moved to Germany in 2014 to further her education and met her Fiance whom she currently lives with. Her favorite Ghanaian food is Banku with Tilapia or Red Red with plain rice. See less
