Despite this surreal and terrifying experience, the sea still has a hold on her heart and recently she sailed and worked aboard the San Salvador, a replica of a 16th century Spanish galleon.She leads a nomadic life that has taken her across Asia, Europe and North America, working as an educator at various schools, organizations, and museums, and as a hiking guide in the American West.Her favorite pastimes include exploring new cultures, hiking, travel, and learning about archaeology, science, and history.
