Maulana Muhammad Ali (d. 1951) was the world-famous author of several highly acclaimed books on Islam, including an English translation of the Holy Quran with commentary, first published in 1917. In 1914, Maulana Muhammad Ali along with his associates founded in Lahore the Ahmadiyya Anjuman Isha'at Islam ('Ahmadiyya Association for the Propagation of Islam').
