Catherine Evtuhov is associate professor of history at Georgetown University. She has published articles in the "Slavic Review, Studies in Russian Intellectual History, Journal of Popular Culture, " and numerous others. She has written the first English translation of Sergei Bulgakov's "Philosophy of Economy: The World as Household" with Yale University Press. Her areas of expertise are 19th/20th century intellectual, social, cultural, and religious history. She received her Ph.D from University of California, Berkeley.
