Moses Ludel grew up at rural Carson Valley, Nevada, graduating high school and coming of draft age in 1967. He is a University of Oregon graduate and successful photojournalist, columnist and author for over two decades. Moses has written and illustrated eight non-fiction books. His teaching experience includes five years (1999-2004) as a vocational instructor, the principal and vocational director at Rite of Passage Charter High School. Here, staff and coaches worked effectively with tough, at-risk male youth who were often former gang members. A practitioner of Vipassana and Zen Buddhist meditation, Moses volunteered his lunch breaks to a sitting meditation group for these students. Happily married for 30 years, Moses and his wife, Donna, have four grown children who also practice mindfulness. Indra's Net is his first novel. See less
