Morgane de Cadier , as a child and long before mastering the art of writing, would dictate stories of overly curious parrots and globe-trotting elephants to her mother. Morgane de Cadier , as a child and long before mastering the art of writing, would dictate stories of overly curious parrots and globe-trotting elephants to her mother. Since then, she has taken up the pen herself. In 2011, she enrolled in the Émile Cohl School in Lyon to study drawing. However, her passion for writing soon caught up with her, fuelled by the shelves of her childhood library brimming with works by Claude Ponti, Beatrix Potter, and Maurice Sendak. She marked her debut as an author with the publication of her first book, Tout là-haut , with HongFei editions. In 2019, her book Chut! (illustrated by Florian Pigé) was awarded the Prix des Incorruptibles (France), the first literary prize awarded by young readers from kindergarten to high school. She lives in Lyon, France. See less
