He is founder of Jones House Publishing. He received his bachelor's (English/Political Science) and Master's degree (English/Creative Writing) in 2008 and 2012 from Texas Southern University. Montage began writing as a way to highlight and give a forum to various social issues, including women's abuse, drug abuse, and police harassment/brutality. He has a book of rap poetry (Street Wise Poetry: Rap Poetry)coming soon, a collection of short stories and poems coming soon (Portraits of Innocence), a thesis coming soon (Black-White Binaries of European Christianity and Colonialism and its Effect in African and Diaspora Literature), and is currently working on the documentary, Street Life: Changing Faces, documenting the 1980s drug game and its relation top the rap game and prison time, due out soon.
