Mohammad Taghi Ameli received his B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Technical College of Osnabrück, Germany, in 1988, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Technical University of Berlin, Berlin, Germany, in 1992 and 1997, respectively. He is a Professor of Department of Electrical Engineering and the chair of Research Institute for Electrical Networks at Shahid Beheshti University. He is the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Research and Technology in Electrical industry (IJRTEI), since 2020. He was also the General Director of the Iran Research and Technology Institute for Electric Machines for three years.
