Mike Clancy is a retired Technical and Scientific Director of the U.S. Navy's Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC) in Monterey, California; a recipient of the Navy's Highest Civilian Award; a member of the FNMOC Hall of Fame; and a frequent public speaker on Climate Change. He does most of his surfing in Santa Cruz, California, but has gone on more than 25 surf trips to various locations around the world.
