Michael J Durant

Michael Durant retired from the Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 4, and is a master aviator. In addition to serving in Somalia, he served in the Persian Gulf, Panama, and Kuwait. His awards include the Purple Heart, the Distinguished Service Medal, and the POW/MIA ribbon. Steven Hartov is an Airborne veteran and author of the international thrillers "The Heat of Ramadan, The Nylon Hand of God," and "The Devil's Shepherd," He has two fine sons.
