Michael Harris grew up in West Los Angeles. Michael Harris grew up in West Los Angeles. While attending the local public schools Overland Avenue, Pasteur, and Hamilton he took trombone lessons, worked a paper route, served as a bowling alley pinsetter, caddie, Cheviot Hills pool/locker room attendant, motion picture studio mailroom messenger and seller of maps to stars' homes. He has a BA from Stanford University and is a J.D. graduate of UCLA Law School. He served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He has worked as a lawyer for over 57 years, beginning at a motion picture production company preparing contracts until he joined in the formation of the firm of Rogers & Harris. He continues to practice civil law primarily in the fields of real estate, probate and entertainment law. His personal life includes his wife, Jeanne, two daughters, three grandsons and a Schipperke dog. His avocations include gardening, orchid growing, biking, writing movie reviews for a select group of friends and driving his vintage Morgan automobile on sunny weekends. See less
