Mauro Dardo

Mauro Dardo (1939-2014) was professor emeritus at the Universit� del Piemonte Orientale (Italy), where he served as professor of experimental physics and as dean of the faculty of sciences. He took part in research programs in a number of different fields of physics, including cosmic rays, elementary particle physics, and high-energy astrophysics. His latter interests lay in the area of history of science and the wider diffusion of scientific culture.
