Maurice James Blair demonstrated the ability to excel in the STEM fields, but became alienated by trends in some areas of Philosophy and Natural Science academia that seemed to him excessively against honoring the role of consciousness in reality. He then went a very different route with career development, working in tax services for many years. Meanwhile, he worked on Comparative Religion, Philosophy, and Science on the side of the tax work and took the liberty to analyze the minds and motives of IRS agents, businesspeople, clients, and lawmakers while performing those tax services. Eventually, he returned to dealing directly with the natural sciences, metaphysics, religion, and ethics in the composition of books he has authored. See less
