Dr. Mattia Bartoli has always performed at the highest levels throughout his education and training as proved by research outputs with 82 published per-reviewed paper in top journals (H-index 22, ORCID 0000-0002-4678-0212). He worked to Biorefinery research Group hosted by University of Alberta developing new materials and new technologies. During this period, he worked closely with Forge Hydrocarbon a spin-off company of University of Alberta solving several issues of the innovative lipid-to hydrocarbon technology for renewable hydrocarbon production. In 2018, he joined to Carbon Group hosted by Polytechnic of Turin where he studied both the production and use of carbon from thermochemical conversion of waste streams for material science applications. Furthermore, Dr. Mattia Bartoli is strongly interested advance materials such as carbon nanodots and bismuth-based materials for biological and electrochemical applications. Since 2021, Dr.Bartoli is working on CO2 electrochemical and thermochemical conversion at Center for Sustainable Future Technologies - CSFT@POLITO. See less
