Matthew D. McCluskey is a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and Materials Science Program at Washington State University (WSU), Pullman. He received a Physics PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1997, and was a postdoctoral researcher at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) in California from 1997 to 1998.
